Canada´s green island province

Prince Edward Island

The Mi'kmaq, original inhabitants of Prince Edward Island refer to their home as „Epekwitk“ or „craddle on the waves“. Surrounded by water and embedded in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the island offers long sandy beaches, inviting you to take walks, go swimming, build sand castles or relax. Rolling landscapes with golden fields, green meadows and forests – this is what makes Prince Edward Island a special travel destination. While Prince Edward Island is Canada's smallest province, it is rich in natural beauty, plenty of outdoor activities, tasty seafood, local grown cuisine and colourful events.
