About us

It started with a camping trip to Prince Edward Island and turned into many years of wonderful summer vacations. We are a family that feels at home in Canada as well as Germany. We spent our first family vacation in 1985, spending our summer camping on Prince Edward Island. We immediately fell in love with the friendly people, the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful gentle nature of the island. A few months later, we purchased 60 acres of forested land, bordering the North Shore. and built a summer cottage. Over the years, we shaped the land, having forest alternate with grassy fields and wild flower patches. To accomodate our friends and extended family we built three chalets in 1995 to share the beauty of Prince Edward Island. It's been more than 30 years now that we spend our summers on Prince Edward Island – the island never lost it's appeal to us.
